Apple cake

This is probably the most common Sunday cake in Italy. Is our version of the “apple pie”. Whenever we fancy a dessert, turn apples in a wonderful sponge cake it will make your day. The result is this beautiful, moist, golden cake that everybody will absolutely love. Perfect for and end of the meal dessert, but also for your breakfast or afternoon snack.
