Gnocchetti sardi

Gnocchetti sardi are considered the Sardinian typical dish. They are also called in their original dialect "malloreddus" which literally means "small bulls". The speciality of these small gnocchi is their size, which gives this pasta an inimitable texture and a scored surface.

The Pasta Lab suggests to combine them with a meat sauce or other with the fresh consistency of ricotta. To add more flavor and taste the real tradition, do not forget to add a sprinkling of Pecorino.
