Linguine is originally from Campania, South of Italy. The name derived from the Italian word "lingua" and can be translated literally as "little tongues". The shape of this pasta is similar to Fettuccine, it is made from a long, flat strands of pasta, but it is thinner and narrower.
Nonna's Lab suggests to combine Linguine with traditional pesto sauce, but it is also perfect for vegetables and seafood based sauces.
