Tagliolini are traditionally from the Central regions of Italy. Even though the name “tagliolini” sounds similar to “tagliatelle”, they are not the same: the difference is in the shape, tagliolini are paper-thin thickness with a width of 2-3 mm. 

Nonna's Lab suggests to combine them with light sauces made from tomato, butter or soft cheeses. Tagliolini are also perfect in vegetables or meat-based broths.
